For our first podcast, we present a 60 minute mix of recent Progressive House and Trance. Our primary goal here is to test the functionality of our podcasting tools. Please let us know how it’s working!

Inertia qualifies for “Next Generation DJ” Competition

Republik label head Inertia has qualified for round 2 of the “Next Generation DJ” competition sponsored by Letsmix.com, Pioneer, and others. Unlike most of the entries, which featured current hits and trends, Inertia went for the old school vibe by laying down a mix of classic rave anthems from the early 90’s. A calculated risk that seems to have (at least initially) paid off. But being one of the first 25 DJ’s to qualify out of a field of over 1200 entries, was only the first step. Next up is to keep a high enough overall rating to finish in the top 100 of all qualifying mixes, after which the top 100 will need to complete a NEW mix with a theme to be determined by the official judging panel.
